Job description


AI Product Owner

Working closely with the Director of Business Solutions and Innovation, the AI Product Owner will play a key role in planning, designing, and implementing Fidelio's artificial intelligence initiatives. The AI Product Owner serves as the internal reference for all AI-related activities, contributing to the product's vision and optimization.

Product Planning and Management

  • Define and prioritize AI initiatives within the development roadmap;
  • Draft functional specifications and ensure the quality of delivered AI solutions;
  • Ensure consistency and added value of AI solutions integrated into Fidelio.

Leadership and Coordination

  • Act as a bridge between development, product, and business teams to ensure successful execution of AI projects;
  • Actively participate in milestone planning and tracking of AI deliverables;
  • Promote AI best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.

Innovation and Vision

  • Collaborate with management to define Fidelio's AI vision;
  • Propose new concepts or prototypes showcasing AI potential in business processes;
  • Continuously monitor trends and emerging technologies.

Business Development and Grants

  • If needed, support the sales team and complete grant applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical skills and experience managing organizational business processes;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines;
  • Exceptional internal and external client approach, focused on support and problem-solving;
  • High adaptability in response to unforeseen challenges;
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and effectively explain processes to clients;
  • Excellent initiative and teamwork skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in functional analysis and/or programming and/or business analysis, with proven problem-solving abilities;
  • Practical knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, machine learning, and automation;
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems;
  • Knowledge of IT operations management, SQL environment, and SOA;
  • Understanding of SME realities;
  • Proficiency in business processes;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, and functional English. English is used weekly to serve our anglophone clients;
  • Knowledge of GOF, an asset.
